Almost all chicken meat consumed in Australia is grown domestically.  Less than 1 per cent of all chicken meat sold in Australia is imported, and only under strict protocols designed to protect Australia’s chickens from diseases.

Most chicken meat produced in Australia is consumed domestically. Only a small amount of chicken is exported.
