The Australian chicken meat industry is deeply committed to cultivating a skilled and passionate workforce for the future. Recognising the importance of early exposure and education, the industry has forged strong partnerships with government and educational institutions to develop engaging and informative resources for students.
The industry works closely with various government agencies, AgriFutures Australia, and the Primary Industries Education Foundation (PIEFA) to develop educational materials that align with curriculum standards and provide a comprehensive overview of the industry. These resources are designed to spark interest in agriculture, food production, and sustainable practices.
The Australian Chicken Meat Federation (ACMF) is currently undertaking a stocktake of Australian chicken meat industry specific education resources to support teachers, families and other education providers to deliver relevant and up-to-date program material to support the learning of Australian students. This is part of ACMF’s ongoing work to deliver the outcomes within the sector’s workforce strategy.
